Halloween Party

We had another fun Halloween party this year!

The costumes were creative as usual. I think Bump wins again (you need to enlarge the pic to fully appreciate his costume)! I loved how all the kids got out of their costumes as fast as they could. Not Luke...the poor kid had sweat marks on his shirt by the end of the night. He has been wanting to wear his costume for such a long time. Luke would point to it in his closet and say eee, eee, eee.

The kids colored chalkboard pumpkins, played Pin the Wart on the Witch and Teeth on Dracula, and made candy necklaces! Even after all that Kash wanted to know what the next activity was! Too cute!

I think my favorite part of the night was when all the guys up and did the dishes! Thanks!!!

Baby

If you know Luke you know that he is obsessed with his "Baby." Baby was his first word and it's what he named his little froggy. Baby goes everywhere with Luke. When Luke is in the bath or eating we set Baby to the side. Sometimes he will throw a fit and decide not to eat just so he can have Baby back.

Every now and then we will misplace Baby and if we get desperate enough we'll just buy another one. Eventually he turns back up! I was looking at his three the other day and loved how different they were. His original Baby looks so gross...I promise I wash him at least once a week! Mark liked how small the head is compared to the new blankies. If only Baby knew how loved he was!

Mitch and Rach

We are so happy to have Rachel in our family! Mitch and Rach were married this weekend. When they came out of the temple Luke started freaking out and screaming "Match, Match..." The day was perfect and the reception was so pretty! Luke did pretty good at all the events. The luncheon wasn't his best moment! I finally bought him a pair of squeaky shoes for the reception. It was perfect because we always knew where he was! After the reception we went to In-N-Out and in walked all the Toones! It was pretty funny all being at In-N-Out in our dresses and tuxes together!

Pumpkin Patch

I knew the pumpkin patch would be a hit with Luke this year. He is obsessed with "puntins." He wasn't too happy when the hay ride first started because he wanted to be up on the tractor. When we got to the patch he was so excited he could control himself. He was running around yelling "puntins" and trying to pick them up. Poor Luke must have tripped on a couple dozen vines. It was a fun night!

Fall Break

Last week was Fall Break so we decided to get away to the sun. We went down to Mesquite and Vegas for the weekend. Luke was not good on the way down...screamed for two hours. We stopped at a gas station and he found a bag of Cheetos and had to have them. All he talked about the rest of the ride were his "Teetos." The weather was perfect so we went swimming a lot. Taking Luke to the M&M and Coke factory were a big mistake. If there are two things Luke loves it's "MM's" and "Tote." I am sure people thought we were crazy letting our son drink Coke but his parents are addicts! It was a fun and relaxing weekend!

This weekend I did a shower for my brother's fiance Rachel. We are so excited to have her in our family and it was fun to get together with all of our family!

My Knives

I love my Cutco knives. They were a must when Mark and I first got married. About a year into our marriage I was finally able to purchase them. Since then I have cut my fingers about a million times. Mark is always getting after me. This week I did my poor finger in. I was cutting apples for Luke and Callie...and yes I do own of those apple cutter things. I accidentally cut off the tip of my finger. I managed to get their shoes on, get in the car and drive to InstaCare. After five numbing shots I was finally numb and they could stitch my finger up. In the meantime Luke tore the place apart while Callie sat on the floor and played with blocks. Quite an afternoon!
