Pumpkins

We had my brothers over for dinner the day for before Halloween so we decided why not carve pumpkins too. Last year when we carved pumpkins Luke figured out that you could just eat the pumpkins and he loves it. When you're not looking he'll take a big bite out of the top of your pumpkin or ask to eat the pieces you carve out. He calls them pumpkin apples...he could be eating worse. This year was the same. Duke ate as much as he carved. Mark, Luke, and I carved our three pumpkins in the amount of time it took Phil and Pat to do theirs. They take theirs a bit more serious. We just carved out simple faces while they sketched out on paper and then transferred to their pumpkins. I guess Happy Festivus and Harry Potter are bit more creative! The trick-or-treaters will love them tomorrow!
