Farmer's Market

Going to the Downtown Farmer's Market is a must each summer.  I love all of the yummy produce and creative crafts they have for sale.  Last Saturday, Mark was on a long bike ride so we decided to tag along with Pat, Becca, and Grammy.

Luke's goal was to pet every dog and give money to every performer.  Every dog we passed he had to ask if he could pet the dog, pet the dog, and ask the owners if it was a good dog.  We all decided Luke would need to be hosed down when we got home!  We tried to hurry Luke by the soap booth but nothing gets by him.  After Luke smelled every soap they had to offer we finally talked him into moving on if we bought him a soap.  Brody was a dream baby as usual.  He slept for the first part and then smiled at us as we pushed him in the stroller.

After we had been through the market and made our purchases we headed across the street to each fries and waffles at Bruges.  Probably the best fries I have ever eaten and the waffles are too yummy for words!  Uncle Pat even used Luke's super hero cape as a bib.  Luke just learned how to take pictures with the iPhone but now he wants to use the big camera.  I decided to let him try while we were at lunch and of course he chose to take a pic of the beautiful Becca.  He did a pretty good job except it focused on the old mint limeade instead of Becca.  Which those mint limeades are a must at the market....a little pricey and a long line but totally worth it.
