My new job share partner Val introduced me to an amazing concept! I spent about five hours one Saturday and made enough freezer meals to last for three months. It has been amazing! I love not worrying about what's for dinner; it's prepared and planned out. This is our schedule for October.

Catching Up

It has been way too long since I last updated our blog. Here is a little catching up!

My dad and mom got Luke this Baby Einstein jumper. He is starting to like more and more!

Luke has decided that he doesn't really like formula anymore. All he wants is apple juice and mush. It is a pain to feed him. He is starting to get the hang of it now!

We had a bbq with friends and then went to the Davis County Fair. We of course had tasty fried Twinkies and Oreos! It was a lot of fun!

Over Labor Day weekend we went to Jackson Hole with Mark's family. We went to the Bar J Wranglers one night!

Luke riding the buffalo in Jackson! Yee Haw!

My brother Patrick had to come home from the MTC to have surgery on his hip. We don't know how long he'll be home, but it is so much fun to see him. We missed him a lot!

First Vacations

Luke took his first vacations this past week to Boise and San Diego. We had to go to Boise for Phil and Jessica's open house. We went boating the next day with her family. It was a lot of fun to be with the Nottinghams. When we got home Mark had to go to DC for a few days so Luke and I went to San Diego with my mom and Thomas. It was a lot of fun. Luke DID NOT love the airplane. However, he LOVED the beach and Sea World. He loved to look in the aquariums. It was so cute!

Weddings, Weddings and more Weddings

I have been so bad about posting this summer. We have been BUSY! My brother Phillip and Mark's stepsister Danielle both got married in July. Both weddings were beautiful. I am afraid we ruined poor Luke for life. I don't think he's a fan of weddings now. I am so happy to finally have Jessica in our family! Another girl!!! We are also so happy for Yell and Bridger! Congrats!!!

Swimming!

Luke and Hayden at the Farmington Pool! Hayden is so cute with Luke. Luke has no idea how loved he really is!
It was Luke's first swim and he loved it! He stayed in the water forever.

Two Months

Luke is now two months old. I can't believe how big he is getting. He already weighs 11 pounds and seems like a completely different child.
Two months old also means shots. I have never seen look so upset. Mark and I couldn't believe how much he cried. Luckily Avery and Hayden saved us. They let Luke borrow their Baby Einstein DVDs and he LOVES them! He will sit in his swing and watch them over and over. Thanks girls!!!

Luke's Blessing

We blessed Luke last Sunday. It was Luke's big day and he didn't even know it. They said he smiled through most of the blessing and then got a little fussy at the end.

Luke wore my brother Thomas' blessing shoes and used his blessing blanket. Thanks Uncle Thomas!!!
