Snow...Snow...Snow

This winter has been a little funny...there hasn't been a big snowstorm for us to get out and play in. Tonight when it started to snow Luke looked outside and started yelling, "Raining, snow, I want!" I decided it was time he played in the snow!

He was so happy to be in the snow with all of his snow clothes on. Luke loves to eat snow. Every time he would bend down to eat some snow he would topple over and couldn't get back up!

We made a snowman since there was plenty of snow. Sadly our first snowman tipped over while we were collecting the rocks. We rebuilt him and Luke was in love. However, he kept wanting to eat his snowman. When I went to take his picture he was busy taking bites out of his snowman. The rest of the night he sat at the backdoor saying hi to his snowman!

Ready For Church

After I got Luke out of the tub on Sunday he was determined to pick out his outfit. I told him he had to wear church clothes, but he thought this outfit was perfect for church! Lookin' good!!!

Cricut

I knew that a Cricut would be great for craft projects, card making, etc. But lately I am in love with using it for organizing. I especially love these vinyl chalkboard ovals I did. I love that if I want to rearrange things in my pantry I just wipe off the chalk and get organizing! I want to make signs and labels for everything now!

Kangaroo Zoo

Today I had the day off so we went to Kangaroo Zoo. Luke and Callie loved it! They are such busy bodies and it's hard to entertain them at home. Callie was super brave and would go down the big slides by herself. Surprisingly, Luke wanted me to be with him on the big slides. He loved them as long as I was with him. Usually he is so independent and doesn't want my help. Helping a toddler climb up a bouncy slide is a workout! We were all tired when we left. They fell right asleep!!!

So Tired

The other day Luke and Callie wanted to watch a movie on my bed. I started Despicable Me for them, but they were just too tired. Their favorite place to watch TV or movies is on my bed, but one or both of them generally get tired and fall asleep.

Up, Up, and Away!

We got a little spoiled with the weather this week. It almost felt like Spring was here. That will just make the next snow storm that much more depressing. Since it was so nice we decided to go to the park and fly Luke's Buzz kite! The wind was perfect and it was a lot of fun. Callie held the string great, but Luke thought it was funny to let the string unwind and see how high Buzz could go. So silly!

Hair Cut

Luke always gets his hair cut by Papa. It is quite an adventure every time. This time we let his hair grow way too long. Poor Luke was freaking out about having hair all over him. We had to keep stopping to rinse the hair off of him. Thank heavens for Papa!
