Road To Hana

Mark has always been in love with Jeeps and he was stoked when he rented a Jeep for us to drive around Maui. We definitely put some miles on that Jeep and the majority of them came from our Road To Hana trip. It was a long day but definitely worth it. My least favorite part of the day was pumping in the open air Jeep while driving down the bumpy roads and dumping milk out the side of the car. It's a good thing Clara is so cute and I love her so much.

The best part of the day was the Haleakala National Park. We spent the majority of our day in the Kipahulu area. We hiked up the Pipiwai Trail to the Waimoku Falls. Along the way we saw a huge banyan tree and a bamboo forest. The waterfalls at the top were gorgeous and it felt so refreshing to feel the mist after a long hike.

At the bottom were the seven sacred pools. It was fun to take a dip in them and swim around. We saw so many beautiful beaches and sights today. At one point we were swimming on a black sand beach and then moments later a gorgeous white sand beach.
