Camping

We went to Strawberry over Labor Day Weekend with Mark's family. I love this picture because Mark hates camping because he never feels like he is clean and then he goes on the four wheelers and gets dirty!
It rained almost the entire weekend! We went on a horse ride and got soaked.
Giddyup!

ULCER

My brother Phil and Mark did the ULCER bike ride last weekend. It is a 110 mile bike ride around Utah Lake. Mark loved it! Phil thought he was going to die for minute when he came across the finish line.

Yellowstone

Over the 4th of July my family went to Yellowstone with our friends the Jordans. We thought it was fun that we could build a snowman on the 4th of July!
My brothers and dad swam in this river. We thought it was a little too cold.
My family! We are so happy Mitch is back from his mission. We went on this trip because Yellowstone is his most favorite place on earth!

This bear was the highlight of Mark's trip. Even though we almost lost our lives trying to get a better view of the bear. He ended up crossing the road right in front of my parent's car so we got great pictures!

San Francisco

We went to San Francisco for the week. I like it there, but it is cold. We went to Alcatraz the first day. We both liked Alcatraz a lot, it is really interesting.
We were able to go to two A's baseball games. The first game was with Mark's coworkers and the second game Tyler Olsen gave us great tickets to the A's and Giants game! Thanks Tyler!
We had never been to Chinatown so we decided to check it out. It is such an interesting place. On Saturday we went to Santa Cruz with the Olsen Family. Cheer and I in our matching hats.
We had fun playing in the sand and putting our toes in the water.

First Grade Movie

I love digital scrapbooking. I use a great program called MemoryMixer. If you have never tried digital scrapbooking try this one. It is very user friendly and comes with already done pages or you can purchase new pages online. Each year I make a DVD for my students using MemoryMixer. It is so easy to use and the kids love it. Here is the DVD I made this year!

Latest Projects

This post is about a month overdue. Last month Mark and I finally tiled our house. I don't think we realized what we were getting into. It was not fun going three weeks without a kitchen or laundry room. It was worth it though. I love having tile. Mark's dad and Max were a big help, we couldn't have done it without them.
Since we were redoing the floors in the laundry room we decided we might as well paint and decorate it. I wanted something bright and fun. After we painted the room I hated it, the green was a little shocking. Now I really like it!

Raging Waters

On Saturday my family went to Raging Waters. Water parks are one of my most favorite things, I love the slides! It was a fun day!

Thomas kept getting cold and hiding under his towel.
