We always have Christmas Eve at the Waite's house. The dinner was amazing as usual...even though Luke had a hard time sitting down to eat. When it came time to read the Christmas story in Luke, Mitch read it on the iPad. Luke kept getting mad at him for just reading on the iPad instead of playing Angry Birds...obviously we need to help Luke with his priorities. We tried to distract him by having him do the finger puppets for the nativity story, but it just ended up distracting us all.
Each year we play the left right game and everyone always complains about the story. This year my dad wrote his own version of the story. It was a fun story and the game worked great. Luke and Becca loved their hats that they received from the game. He wears his sock monkey hat everywhere now. The next hit for Luke was his binoculars from Grandma and Grandpa Talbot, he thought these were pretty cool. My mom sewed all the girls matching Christmas aprons...they're too cute to cook in. It was a fun night, but Luke was more than ready to get home and get ready for Santa!
