Lately we have been given lots of amazing stuff to try out and take my kids pictures in. We have been trying out bow ties, bibs and hair bows. Luckily they are good little models and don't mind posing for a quick pic. Love my beauties!

Clara's First Swim
I've been dying to get Clara in her swimsuits so when it was finally warm enough to hit the pool we could hardly wait to get her dressed. I couldn't handle how cute she looked in her suit. It's a good thing too because we're going to be spending lots of time at the pool this summer. I can't wait to snuggle this little doll all summer long! I just love her way too much!
My Little Soccer Star
Luke has always been an amazing soccer player and he keeps getting better each year. This year he was lucky again to have Mark as his coach. I love to watch Luke play soccer. He plays so hard and gives it his all. I'm sure a lot of the players don't even know what the score is but Luke knows the score of each game and how many points each boy scores.
This season a lot of Luke and Brody's games overlapped so I wasn't able to go to a lot of Luke's games. I was sad that I didn't get to see many of them but when I did Luke played great! I'm so proud of my little soccer star!
Brody Finally Starts Soccer
Brody has been dying for his turn to actually play on a soccer team. However, when his turn finally came he wasn't so sure. I went to pick up his uniform and told him he was going to be a Green Snake he started crying and said, "I no want to be a green snake, I just want to be a boy Brody!" He seriously melts my heart.
In the backyard Brody runs and kicks the ball like crazy but when we get to his games he wants nothing to do with soccer. He is great at subbing himself out of the game. I beg him to go in and kick the ball. When I offer a reward he runs in, kicks the ball one time and then asks if we can go get his treat. One time I asked him to go in and play so I could take pictures of him. He said, "Um how about you just take pictures of Coach Tom!"
Clara and I loved spending time at his games and cheering him on! That smile of his just gets me and he goes for the treats and playground!
Broncos Cake
Luke was insistent on a Broncos cake for his birthday. I kept it a surprise and wouldn't let him see his cake until his party. I was so mad when I took it out of the fridge because part of the cake had sunk down. Luckily Luke was still beyond thrilled when he saw his cake. I love the smile on Luke's face when everyone is singing to him. If there's one thing Luke loves it's lots of attention.
He had lots of family that came to celebrate with him and shower him with gifts. I am so grateful for family that loves him. Luke definitely knows when he is truly loved and cared about. We hope our Luke had a wonderful birthday because he deserves it. Love you Lukers!
Luke is Six
I can't believe my little guy is six! He looks older and older each day and it breaks my heart! No one gets more excited for their birthday than Luke. He starts planning it weeks in advance and wants his day to be perfect. There is never a chance of forgetting his birthday...he makes sure everyone knows and wants to know what you're going to do on his special day. Since his birthday was on a Sunday he was so nervous that he wouldn't get to spend the day doing what he wanted. When we informed him that he could do what he wanted on Saturday he was ecstatic. Two days of celebrating was more than Luke could handle.
As per Luke's special request we had sprinkle pancakes ready when he woke up. He was so excited to open his present of water basketballs and footballs. This year we decided to decorate Luke's bedroom for his present. He has been begging for a football bedroom. Of course he wanted walls covered in Payton Manning Fat Heads but I tried to mesh our styles and he was overjoyed. It has been so fun secretly buying and planning his room. The look on his face was priceless when he walked in and saw his room. He spent forever walking around and looking at every little detail. I love this little birthday boy and I'm so glad he loved his present.
Luke's Six Year Pics
Luke is the energy in our family and I don't know what we would do without him! He keeps us on our toes and always has us on the go. His laugh is the highlight of my day and that smile of his melts my heart. Luke definitely pushes my buttons and he is too smart for his own good but I am blown away by his knowledge and joy for life. He finds friends wherever he goes and is a pro at every sport he tries.
I hate that he is getting older but I love how he is becoming my buddy. We are able to joke together and spend time together. This past year we have spent tons of time watching movies from my childhood. It was so fun watching him fall in love with Indiana Jones, The Sandlot and numerous other movies. Being able to laugh and spend time with Luke is priceless and I don't ever want to let go of it. I love my Lukers!
